I developed my affinity for music at an early age. Music was always present in our home. My parents had a great Soul music record collection and my mother also used to sing at home. The image of her moving around the house and singing has stayed with me.

My first experience in a band came when I was 15 years old. In the years following, I was active in various studio and live band projects. I studied voice and guitar at the Jazz School of Munich, and soon after drums at Drummers Focus, which gave me the opportunity to tour throughout Germany as a drummer.

I love music and studying various kinds of instruments, but my main focus has always been on singing. However I needed an instrument that enabled me to become the singer/songwriter I wanted to be, which brought back my passion for the guitar.

I moved from Munich to Berlin in 2001, where I lived for 15 years. I worked as a singer, voice coach, session musician and guitarist, but mainly focused on my own projects and songwriting. 2011 I released my debut album Tief Wie Das Meer (Deep As The Ocean), followed by the 2nd album Exil (Exile) that came out in 2015.

After many trips to London and New York, and a deep fascination for the music scene there, I decided to move to London in the Autumn of 2015.

Raised with the music of Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, etc. I always had a great preference for singing Soul Classics. With my project The Soul Tribute I admire these artists, from the early 60´s to contemporary artist like Alicia Keys, Amy Winehouse and Bruno Mars.
